About Us

Cochiti Fire Department is a fire department that is dedicated to serving and protecting the community. Our team is made up of volunteer professionals who are committed to ensuring the safety of our community members. We provide a range of services, including emergency response, fire prevention education, and community outreach programs. Our goal is to build strong relationships with the community and to be accountable for our actions and decisions. We have a wealth of experience in the field and are always striving to improve our services.

At Cochiti Fire Department, our mission is to serve and protect our community.  We believe that by building strong relationships with the community and being accountable for our actions, we can create a safer and more stronger environment for everyone.

Our District

The Cochiti Fire Department is located in Sandoval County New Mexico. Our department provides services to Cochiti Pueblo, the Town of Cochiti Lake, Cochiti Lake Recreation Area and Tetilla Peak, Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument, Pena Blanca, Sile, Santo Domingo Pueblo, Hwy 16 and the stretch of Interstate 25 between La Bajada to Budaghers. Additionally, Cochiti Fire provides mutual aid to parts of Santa Fe County and other areas of Sandoval County

Our Volunteers

Our volunteers come from Santo Domingo, Pena Blanca, Sile, Cochiti Pueblo, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Albuquerque and more.
